Would you really use placenta shampoo?

I may be a self-confessed beauty junkie but I'm not sure I can see myself using this latest treatment.
There have been plenty of strange, yet wonderful, products claiming to make you look better in the past, but placenta shampoo - yes you read correct - has to be the weirdest yet.

Loved by A-listers including Victoria Beckham and Elle Macpherson it's the latest craze and I can't deny I'm a little intrigued to try it out.

Packed full of proteins, zinc, Vitamin E and panthenol, the La Bella hair range will apparently make your locks luscious by repairing split ends, restoring manageability and renewing shine and bounce - sounds great. But it's still made of cow and sheep placenta.

Cheryl Cole appears to be following in the footsteps of one-named stars such as Madonna and Rihanna as rumours have begun to surface that she could be ditching her last name for the sake of her recording career.

It appears Chezza will be releasing all her future material under her first name alone in a bid to forget anything negative from the past.

Although the former Girls Aloud singer is not dropping her marital name completely, the change has sparked suggestions that she is finally putting her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole behind her - at last!

Cheryl was spotted in Los Angeles this week filming for her her new comeback track Call My Name, which will be followed later in the year by her third solo album.

Kim Kardashian to buy Beckingham Palace?

We may be loosing the Beckhams to America but in exchange we could be gaining some US celebrity royalty.

None other than Kim Kardashian herself is said to be interested in purchasing Beckingham Palace, David and Victoria’s stately mansion.

The 31-year-old socialite is rumoured to have lined up a viewing of the £18million celebrity pad and is keen on snapping it up sometime soon. Located in Hertfordshire it is thought the entire Kardashian clan will use it as a European base.

But for fans of the Beckham’s all is not lost. Kim is reportedly planning to capitalise on the properties’ past owners by occasionally renting out rooms.

David and Victoria purchased the property back in 1999 for a mere £2.5million and have since added many extravagant features leading to the massive increase in value.

No, we’re not talking a loft conversion here – the couple added a full size pool, golf course, stables, recording studio (ahem), helipad and gym.

Sounds like there will be plenty to keep Kim and the family entertained!

How to apply lip transfers

Patterns are huge on the Catwalk for Spring/Summer 2012, but it doesn’t stop at clothing. Printed lip transfers are trending fast - so here’s how to apply your own…

1. Start off by making sure your entire mouth is clean, dry and free of lipstick residue before application. You can exfoliate your lips for a smoother transfer if needs be.
2. Take your lip tattoo and align the Cupid’s bow of the top sticker with your own. Press firmly for a few seconds. This will allow you to find your exact lip shape to cut the transfer to size. 
3. Trim the excess from the sides and bottom of the transfer to ensure a good, even shape. The more care you take at this stage, the better the finish. 
4. Next, peel off the backing and position onto your top lip, again aligning the Cupids bow with your own. The best way to do this is by stretching your lips as you would when applying lipstick. Make sure you press the paper right to the edges to ensure you gain a full lip shape.
5. Use wet cotton wool to soak the transfer and gently slide off the backing paper, leaving a perfect tattoo on your lips.
6. Seal and smooth your tattoo with water, it will then stay on for up to 8 hours. Repeat for bottom lip. 

Tip: If you have any misprint outside your lip line, simply apply some baby oil to a cotton wool bud and gently dab the excess away.

Victoria Beckham turns domestic goddess

Victoria Beckham has been busy in the kitchen preparing a feast for her sons Romeo and Cruz's International Food Day at School.

Taking to the social networking site Twitter, the 37-year-old mum of four posted pictures of her creations, complete with British flag decor.

She tweeted: 'just finished cooking! Very proud to be British!! X vb.'

The photo showed traditionally English snacks including pork pies, sausage rolls and pineapple on sticks. She even made the platter look extra special by sticking Union Jack flags into each item and finishing the look off with a toy British bulldog.

It seems that singing, fashion designing and raising children isn't the only talents the former Spice Girl has.

New faces to join Made in Chelsea

Season three of the hit E4 show premiers in April and the cast will be joined by a few newcomers, one in the from of Mille Mackintosh’s best friend, Kimberley Garner.

The Made in Chelsea hottie and girlfriend of beau Professor Green will be gracing our screens this series with one of her close friends.

The two were pictured making a red carpet appearance for the launch of Haagen Daaz’s Mint Leaves & Chocolate flavour ice cream last week.

Other newcomers including Gemma Gregory and Hugo Empson, who is rumoured to be the shows new love rat, also attended the launch - much to the apparent discretion of Amber Atherson who is rumoured to dislike the new additions.

Newcomer Gemma is said to have already lashed out at cast members  of fellow reality TV show Geordie Shore.

Despite another of Millie’s best friends joining the cast, Channel 4 have made a statement denying the rumours that Caggie Dunlop has left. Channel 4 said: 'Caggie has not left Made in Chelsea. She is in the first two episodes and we have plans to film with her in the future.'

The new series is bound to be packed full of the usual love triangles, eccentric behaviour and champagne filled parties, so tune in to E4 in April.

A supermodel in the making?

She may have just turned 16, but Kendall Jenner has given us leg-envy once again.
With reports surfacing of her skipping college to pursue a modelling career, images of Kendall Jenner and her younger sister Kylie at the Project X premier on Wednesday night have shown us exactly what all the fuss is about.

The Teen Vogue cover star turned up at the event in a lilac dress showing of her to-die-for pins, which are fast becoming her unique selling point.  The reality star emphasised her legs even more by teaming the rather short dress with a pair of skyscraper peep toe heels – not that they need emphasising of course.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s most recent fashion campaign for an Australian swimwear company triggered controversial comments after she was photographed in an array of bikinis – leaving people to wonder whether the images were age-appropriate.

But it seems the teen is shrugging off all negativity and focusing on her future, and we can’t wait to see what is in store!

With the families’ signature brown locks and those never-ending legs, we may just have a new favourite member of the Kardashian clan.

Rihanna seems to change her hair style more often than most get a trim. In fact her edgy styled hair has changed in colour more times in the past than most change in a lifetime.

The 23-year-old songstress seems to be able to pull off any style, colour or design she takes her fancy on, lucky her! So it really is no surprise that the 'umbrella' hit maker has transformed her look once again.

RiRi took to the social networking site Twitter to show her new bright blonde locks off to fans and followers, tweeting '#Back2Work 1st Cover of the year!!!!' gaining a highly positive response to her new look.

After sporting a blonde wig for the Armani campaign it seems the singer has taken to the change in colour for real. She underwent the transformation for a photo shoot, and it really is unlike anything she has tried before. She simply looks amazeballs.

Over the year Ri-Ri has been known for her hair-changing ways going from a black sleek cut to brown curly locks in the space of a few days, so we wonder how long the blonde will stay for?

Maybe she'll be able to answer the question of whether blondes really do have more fun?
