London Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow and designers from Henry Holland to Vivienne Westwood will be showcasing their Spring/Summer 2012 collections to press, bloggers, buyers and of course celebs! Starting off in Somerset House, the fashion forward event is set to welcome more than 5000 guests and hopefully a heap of famous faces too.

More than 100 designers will hold catwalk shows throughout the week (Friday 16th - Wednesday 21st September) with household names including John Rocha and Margaret Howell absolute must-see's.

The long awaited fashion forward week is finally here and i for one am very excited to see whats in store, despite counting down the days for a while i've probably been most excited since Fashion's Night Out.
What to watch for? Henry Hollands show on Saturday is guaranteed to delivery preppy chic from peter pan collars to satchels!

Steal the style

Kate Winslet officially wowed the world with her amaze-balls figure in the Stella McCartney's illusion dress at a recent event.

The black panels create the perfect silhouette and its a trend that has had women everywhere rushing out to get their own. The dress is ideal for any figure and any size, and is bound to be a massive hit.

So ok, you may not want to spend the money on the Stella McCartney dress, but heres another suggestion and for a snippet of the price.
Here's how to steal her style:

Fashion has a night out

We may be heading towards the end of the year but in the fashion calendar it’s only the beginning and I couldn’t be more excited!

The centre of London was awash with jewel colours, tweed blazers and plenty of leather for Vogue Fashions Night Out on Thursday. Its safe to say no one seemed disappointed to be showcasing their autumn wardrobes early.

Celebrities, bloggers, designers and other style stars were treated to live music, parties and exclusive events by some of the biggest fashion labels and stores.

We spotted a number some so-hot-right-now outfits and lets just say there were enough fedora hats to dress an army. The fashion festivities attracted a bevy of familiar faces too, including Daisy Lowe, Gwyneth Paltrow and model Charlotte De Carle.

Vogue took over the streets and gave major cities a night of shopping, fun and games, with London’s DKNY putting on an amaze-balls party complete with Mahiki Tiki bar and Coconut Rum (which is really yum) whilst on Oxford Street Johnny Borrell was DJ-ing in GAP.

There’s one thing for sure, it definitely made me even more excited for London Fashion Week! Vogue even let guests in for a big treat by hosting a glamorous event to preview some of the collections (lucky!)
